Questions:
1. Whose face do you prefer, Spock from TOS or Spock from the new alternate universe movies? I'm a TOS fan, so naturally I prefer "the real Spock." :-) I also find the guy in the new movies (I haven't seen them, but of course I've seen him) has a kind of podgy face that I don't much care for (simply personal preference).
2. Who would have been a ST fan, NS or IK? I don't imagine IK as being a "fantasy" type of person; I do think NS, if he ever got the chance to watch, would identify a bit with Kirk. :-)
3. When you are sad, what music do you listen to? Hm ... I don't listen to music particularly when I'm sad. I like to ... wallow is probably not the right word, but if I'm upset about something I like to immerse myself in it and feel it fully (sans distractions). I feel like I work through it and get over it faster that way. Music for me is generally for happy, calm, busy, or introspective moods.
4. Do you have pets? Names and species? One adoptive cat. The people who dumped her named her Precious. That wasn't gonna fly around these here parts. I call her Hairball. :-)
5. What have you done in your life that felt like you were stepping outside your comfort zone and really strrrreeeeetching your limits? Not much, but I'd say what I'm doing right now comes closest: I'm singing in La Traviata. VERY minor production and I'm just in the chorus, but it's a big step for me, with no formal training, no stage experience (or interest, really) and no familiarity with the opera. I'm enjoying the challenge immensely.
6. Do you prefer carpet or wood floors? I like the look of wood but my feet get cold, so I prefer carpet.
7. As a child, what did you dream you would be when you grew up? Dream? Most of the heroes in the fantasies I read or watched on TV. A spy, a mage, many forms of fantasy-type hero (of course there were no friggin' heroines in books when I was a kid - at least none I wanted to be).
8. Besides UNCLE, what was the one show you never wanted to miss? Star Trek, Starsky & Hutch, Alias Smith & Jones.
9. What was the make and model of your first car? :-) 1969 Ford Mustang with a 351 engine and big fat back tires with Kragars. I loved that car. 90 mph felt like effortless flying. Ahem. Not that I ever drove over the speed limit, of course.
10. Do you prefer slacks or skirts? Pants . Comfort first.
11. If you were suddenly a billionaire, what is the first thing you would buy or do with your riches? I already have the house picked out. In the city I prefer, with a pool.
