...and I just want to apologize for all the "the Russian"s and "the American"s. I don't know what the hell I was thinking. I don't even like that kind of thing.

Apology accepted.

Actually, Russian agent doesn't make me cringe. Dark haired agent (which I wrote way back) does.

It's funny how when you think back, you think "Yeah, that's kind of wooden; I'm sure I wouldn't have fallen prey to that." Then you actually check, and are appalled. Sheesh.

Oh lordy, I can so relate. I look back at so many of my stories and just cringe! Nice to know I'm not alone. ;D

I shouldn't go back and reread. On top of that, my POV was all over the place. I mean, it was meant to be multiple POV, but it was so choppy ... argh. Rereading is a bad idea. We should just say "I've learned! I'm better now!" and keep moving forward.

Please - don't worry. We all have mannerisms in early stories. My particular thing is overuse of ellipses.......
.....
and a shocking NEED TO CAPSLOCK INSTEAD OF USING ITALICS!

I'm guessing the capslock thing was because you didn't know the html for italic? Because for quite a while I didn't, and resorted to the horrible asterisk thing - it always made the word look sort of surprised, you know? What a relief it was to learn the html for bold and italics!
