Please - don't worry. We all have mannerisms in early stories. My particular thing is overuse of ellipses....... ..... and a shocking NEED TO CAPSLOCK INSTEAD OF USING ITALICS!
I'm guessing the capslock thing was because you didn't know the html for italic? Because for quite a while I didn't, and resorted to the horrible asterisk thing - it always made the word look sort of surprised, you know? What a relief it was to learn the html for bold and italics!
