I always PANIC (in firmly controlled, but large, letters) when confronted with fiction deadlines. Nonfiction, I don't worry about - it'll get done. Fiction? I worry to death. So it tends to get done early. :-)
And a great story to wake up to, too. Such a sad ending, though it solidified, in my mind anyway, the idea that Napoleon and Illya were already lovers. Ooh, and another of your stories to look forward to! (even if I have to guess which one it is.)
And after this - Star Trek! I've gotten a really unfortunately complicated idea for a story in addition to the ep tags I want to finish and post. I'm afraid I'm lost to other fandoms for a bit, anyway. :-)
I know the feelings. :-) It does seem that, the more fandoms one has, the less you actually get done. That's how it is for me, anyway. When I was only in K/S, I was churning out stories so fast I was running out of zine publishers to send them to. Now that I have three major fandoms, my energies are too defused. But I, too, have a complicated idea for a story I'm hoping to get started on in UNCLE.
It's most certainly going to be a first-time. :-) Strangely enough, though I've always thought of myself as being more of an Established Relationship fan, I find that, in UNCLE, I am more drawn to FT's.
