If I might make a suggestion, Marian (mrua7) is looking for content for the Uncle du Jour community. It's all genres, and I think would be a good home for something like what you're suggesting.

You know, I blame everything on the menopause, so that's the culprit here where you GAVE me the bloody link and I went "La la la la ..." over to the canteen.

Just ignore me. I'll be over here rocking back and forth, going, "Did I leave the iron on? Do I even have an iron?"

I do that sometimes too :) Some of my favorite discussions are discussions about specific stories, the sorts of things that are hard to start in public, but that can sometimes break out naturally in the midst of other things.

I do love talking about craft, and talking about characterization and the world of UNCLE, filling in the blanks the show left with our own interpretations. Maybe I should just do that.

God I love that too. I'm fascinated by issues of interpretation, how we add depth to the characters and expand the world of the show. I honestly think it helps us as writers to be able to do that, to talk about about canon, examine motivations, get a different point of view now and then.

And I really enjoy it when writers talk about craft and the choices they make when they write, what works and what doesn't. I always like writing memes and things like that.

Yeah, you should do that :)
