Because, let's face it, I'm a small minded jerk whose ego evidently needs stroking, even if it's masturbatory. The certain person in that "other" fandom who hated my story was outvoted by others and that story has been archived as a recommended story. Yes, I'm feeling the petty thrill of a tiny victory. Gotta take 'em where I can get 'em.

Well, at the risk of getting too intimate, let me give you a hand. I'm not at all surprised that your story was recced.

Are we neglecting you in this fandom? Is that why you had to go elsewhere? The only thing to do is post a story to File Forty, and give everyone a chance to LOC you.

Then again, we're waiting for a certain website to debut that has one of your stories on it.

Nah, not at all. I've simply been detoured (temporarily, I imagine -- can't see this little love affair lasting very long) into another fandom. Which I hoped wouldn't happen, but there you go. Lots of things I thought I wouldn't do, I've done. Bad fanficcer -- no biscuit!

And if JanBo gives the OK, some stuff will get onto File 40 -- not new, though. But new to the online-only folks. Whee. They have something to live for (/sarcasm).
