…and she’ll be posting to File 40 a couple of my old stories (well, hell, they’re all old at this stage): The Kamikaze Affair (from File 40’s gen zine Dossier 2) and The Last Time (from their slash zine Unclassified Affairs 5).

It will be interesting to see if there’s any response at all to stories that old. I wonder what that will tell us about how many people buy and read zines, and of those, how many bother with feedback? I think online’s the way to go, myself. It’s free, and god knows I can’t imagine a way to justify charging anyone for <i>my</i> fic, although there is stuff out there I’d pay to read.

In any case, for anyone who cares, they should be coming to File 40 soonish, I guess.

Lee, just a few nights ago I was in chat telling someone how much I've come to enjoy your stories (I read bi-fictionally), and how I've noticed improvement in writing style and technique with all your new stories. I'm glad you decided to bring your zine stories to File 40. I'm looking forward to seeing them, and I hope you're a trendsetter in the fandom. :-)
