The year was: 1976. Rocky and The Omen were two of the top movies. Disco was going strong and Apple computers was just being formed.
1. Did you know your spouse? Not married.
2. Did you car pool to school? Walked; occasionally caught a ride from a neighbor and good friend who I’d like to point out when on to Berkeley and a massively successful career as an accountant. She’s CFO of some big corporation or other and lives in Paris.
3. What kind of car did you have? Didn’t get a car ‘til I was in college.
4. What kind of car do you have now? 2013 Honda Fit.
5. It's Friday night...where were you? At home, I expect.
6. What kind of job did you have in high school? None.
7. What kind of job do you have now? The kind that makes me wish I could win the lottery.
8. Were you a party animal? Bookish/choir person
9. Were you a cheerleader? No.
10. Were you considered a jock? No.
11. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir? Choir/chorale/etc.
13. Did you get suspended or expelled? No. I was a good student.
14. Can you sing the fight song? No. I doubt I ever knew it, assuming we had one.
15. Who was/were your favorite high school teacher? Mr. Yale. Choir teacher. Mr. Hansen was an excellent English teacher, Mr. Brister a fun science teacher.
16. Where did you sit for lunch? Wherever I felt like sitting.
17. What was your school's full name? Palmdale High School
18. What was your school mascot? Falcons. And I had to think hard to remember
19. If you could go back and do it again, would you? Knowing what I know now? Maybe.
20. Did you have fun at Prom? I didn’t attend.
21. Do you still talk to the person you went to Prom with? See above.
22. Are you planning on going to your next reunion? God no. I’ve never been to one, never had the slightest desire. I had a very good high school experience but I moved on from that part of my life when I went to college.
23. Are you still in contact with people from school? No.
24. What are/were your school's colors? Green and white.
