From my "other" fandom. It was two sentences. The first one was "It was fairly amusing."

I love that. Very few reviews give you the giggles every time you read them. But I admit I found myself thinking...if I found a story only "fairly amusing" would I bother to send an LOC? Hee hee...

Anyone who writes "it was fairly amusing" as an LOC must be "fairly self-important." I'm glad you're snickering.

There is a sort of implied sniff in there, isn't there? Hee hee. I don't know, it just seems like more trouble than I'd want to go to to indicate I was neutral about a story. :) "It was not wholly intolerable..."

But what did the second sentence say?

that she liked my banter. So it was overall mildly approving. I chanced across one of her public LOCs to someone else and it was the same way, sort of "this was OK." I wonder now if English maybe isn't her first language. But she gives me the giggles. I think I'll start looking for her LOCs now. :)
