Was thinking...

...whilst reading in the "other" fandom (which is HUGE) about BNFs and it occured to me that MFU is so darn small there's like 3 BNFs and the rest of us -- all of us -- are kind of MNFs (Medium Name Fans). I mean, I suppose there are totally unheard-from folks out there, but even the shiest fan posts somewhere once in a while, eh?
And I realized I kind of like that feeling of everyone seeming a little familiar (as familiar as e-pals can be, of course).

One of the most exciting bits about ConneXions this past weekend was the evidence of new interest in UNCLE. There were two panels on the fandom, and numerous vid-watching get togethers. And many of my friends from the Dus South fandom seem to be interested in UNCLE as well, and they are excellent writers, so I am optimistic that we are on the cusp of a whole new surge of stories. Which, in a word, causes me to squee like a squeeing thing.

New blood

This can only be good for UNCLE.

I agree with you, Lee. There is a kind of 'family' feeling about UNCLE fandom which is very comfortable.

New blood...

... sure freshens things up, doesn't it? And the more the better if it makes the PTB put out the DVDs for us all! :)
