I have a question
... which I will crosspost for obvious reasons.
What - assuming Starsky and Hutch are working with them on a case and become at least semi-friendly - would Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin call them? Hutch works, but surely not "Starsky"? For those of you familiar with both worlds, what do you think?

And Illya - well, he does what Napoleon does, doesn't he?
LOVE that you're working on this!!!

Yeah, I really am enjoying the idea that S&H, cool cops, are going to be rather impressed by our slightly greying but still formidable spies (not that they'll admit it), while NS&IK will be pretty pleased with our rough-and-tumble cop duo.
Plus explosions, h/c and smut, of course. :)

But of course. I forgot to point out that I most definitely assume NS&IK will most definitely decide these two are OK! Hmmm... plot point there... do they do so immediately? Or after ____, and based on ____? Do S&H take to our smooth and always humorous older duo right away, or do they in turn take some convincing? I am an idiot to overlook the delights of a friendship that doesn't just happen right off the bat. (So not an author.)
At any rate, I can't wait to find out how you negotiate this "first time."

Rethinking this -
While Napoleon, ever the rule-breaker of the two, and with far more insouciant self-confidence, would decide at some point to establish his own relationship with Starsky by calling him "David"?
Leaving Illya (on noting that) to either change and follow suit ... or not (given that he is oh-so-slightly stubborn) ...
What a tease! When shall we find out? :D

I don't read crossovers as a general rule (or even as a slash rule!), but if you're working on one, I'm sure it will be first-rate; I'm eager to see what you do!

I'm sure you'll make it work.
